There was a french film which the film 'Vanishing' was based on. It's much darker than the Vanishing and it had a completely different ending. It was in french and had subtitles. Very good film. Sorry can't remember name. That kind of defeats the purpose though eh?!

I am still loving Irreversible.I know alot of people were outraged by that one, but I thought it was breathtaking( and not totally in a good way ).Extremely heavy subject matter and not for the faint of heart.
