I do not like Graham, Donovan, Niles, Nigel, Clark, Edmund, Angus or Linus as they are either really frumpy sounding or do not go with the middle name Arthur.

I love Joel, but it sounds better Arthur Joel, the same with Grant, it's a clipped sounding name, so does not flow with Arthur.

I don't like names that you can shorten. So Donovan becomes Don, Nigel becomes ***, Edmund is Edetc. Also things like Ean instead of Ian, drive me nuts, because you are always correcting people when they write your name down wrong. Especially if you have a complicated last name. Miles would remind me of Frasier, Nigel sounds like a soul artist, I knew a Joel that was gay, Angus is a type of cow, Linus is from Peanuts. And I don't like Owen, sounds to country.
So for me that leaves Graham , Clark or Grant. So you have soft G's and hard C. Which can you hear yourself yelling at him. Clark get up, late for school for instance.
Grant and Clark are strong names...Cary Grant and Clark Gable come to mine. I think Clark, depending on your last name. But at least I got to two. Have fun! Happy naming.

I like Miles and Graham...both great names. Grant is nice too. Out of the ones you listed, I think Donovan, Ean and Edmund sound the best when put with Arthur.

Good luck and congrats!

Donovan or Ean (spelt Ian or Iain) for sure!

Miles, Edmund, Niles, Nigel, Linus and Angus sound pompous... they bring to mind spoilt brats with their buttons done all the way and constantly sucking up to their teacher/parent/whatever

Graham and Owen sound the complete opposite... I think of rough-around-the-edges men with missing teeth

Joel isn't too bad, nor is Clark.

Ean is cool, though I prefer the spelling Ian or Iain. The name makes me think of a sporty type, easy-going in nature.

And Donovan conjures images of a creative type, a surfer, and a nice-looking fella

I really like Donovan and Miles. I don't really like the name Grant but for some reason I really like the way it sounds with Arthur. Hope that helps.

Think about when he is being bad..
EDMUND ARTHUR! EAT YOUR CARROTS!
I think that works for me... I dont like the sound of Ean Arthur, Clark Arthur, Angus Arthur, or Grant Arthur.

Miles might work tho.
