Two major sports in Brazil are soccer and volleyball, you play either or both since you are a kid everytime and all the time. If you are a really tall guy, you will become a volleyball player. Otherwise, you are just like the mojority and become a soccer player. There thousands of soccer clubs, centers and schools around the country for children to adults. Over 100 professional men's soccer clubs with 6000+ full time players in national or state leagues. Dozens of major clubs have boarding soccer schools for teens to youth. All those kids play soccer all the time except when they are studying. Soccer is their life.

I don't think either of the two guys above me gave you answers that you were looking for.

I think you mean when and for how long their practice sessions last.

Brazilian soccer isn't like many leagues where they only play once a week. They play sometimes up to 4x a week so there's no time to rest. They have to prepare for the next game so unless it's a long gap in between games they'll practice 2-3 and 3-4 hrs a day.
