I think it's plain as day and night (no pun intended). May we begin listing some reasons? I'll start:

1. Pandering to radical elements in the black community for votes no matter if it's the worst thing for America;

2. Duke University liberal college professors who wag their chins all day talking about the "presumption of innocence" and constitutional rights of the accused, but the minute the accused is white, upper-middle class, and the victim is a black prostitute and stripper, those principles are meaningless.

Its just the simple fact that the libs make anyone white out to be evil and all minorities to be victims. This is the way they run their politics (i.e. welfare system, quotas, affirmitive action, all that crap). The liberal agenda is inherently racist

you're playing video games with numbers. First, that is easily 38 years considering 1966 became no longer a presidential election 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. next the incumbent of both party continuously has an income. Nixon in seventy 2, Reagan in 80 4, Clinton in ninety six and Bush in 2004 have taken income of it. regardless of the publicity of the Duke rape case the democrats nonetheless gained administration of the living house and the Senate, something maximum analysts were no longer predicting might want to take position. an extra effective concern. Forgetting the Florida recount in 2000 more effective human beings nationally voted for Gore than voted for Bush. no longer precisely a mandate. The peculiarities of our electoral college gadget gave Bush the presidency. finally the concept the total African American community owes an apology to the total usa because of an overzealous prosecutor is previous ludicrous.

I agree with you. I have a couple of friends that are Duke professors & we agreed to not talk any politics a long time ago - way tooo liberal for me. But this case was killing me to ask why the presumption of guilt for these players.
The players should have known better than to be involved with underage drinking & a stripper at the same time. Talking about asking for trouble, it set them up for allegations & almost every liberal in our area climbed on the "lets railroad these boys to jail" wagon. Esp. the Duke professors & media. The Black Panthers came in from out of town (we are not taking credit for them too).
They have chosen to not re-enroll at Duke - I can not say that I blame them either. Our area grew 27% last year & they were not conservatives that moved in. It is passe here to be rich, white, male & college educated - any 3 are okay but not all.

how were their constitutional rights violated?

they were accused... and there was an investigation into it?

why do Republicans freak out if there is an investigation into someone in the upper class committing a crime? do wealthy white people never comit crimes?

you guys really think that this duke rape case is the BIGGEST thing in life right now don't you? it's all you care about clearly?

and a case involving four rich kids is "symbolic" of everything wrong in the world... hahaha...

where are Republicans for EVERY OTHER PERSON THAT ISN'T RICH... OF ANY COLOR... WHEN THEY GET WRONGFULLY ACCUSED EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR IN AMERICA?

you may be right... this case may prove something about some people... it may prove that the only people that Republicans value are the wealthy...

but I don't think we really needed this case to see that...

From what I have seen on this case ...the "victim" has changed her story and changed her account of "key facts" of the case many times.

Don't forget that people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
In a cse of "she said ...they said" and not much or any physical evidence exists it is always a difficult case for the prosecution.
If the young men in question are guilty I hope they all are prosecuted.

ALEX PH.D: Not all whites think all minorities are victims!
You are pandering.

1. To suggest that pandering is an exclusively leftist phenomenon is silly. Be honest, Rove and Co. play the game as well as anyone.

2. Can't argue with you on this one...the PC movement has become a self-parody. Common sense seemed to fly out the window as soon as the cameras hit campus.

Yes. This is exactly why Democrats can't win Presidential elections. They might win some parochial congressional races or governorships, but they can't win a TRULY NATIONWIDE election. It's this fraudulent, hoax rape case that serves as the prime example why.

They pander to blacks. They are owned by the radical elements of the black community.

A stripper who has changed her story time and time again, a prosecutor who didn't disclose exculpatory evidence. This is the one time being rich and white didn't get you a pass from the justice system.

It's the best argument against being a sleazy politician & the best argument against being a cheap slut.
