I left it parked in the freezing weather for a few days, and now it won't start. It was fine before. 2001 Chevy Metro. Anyone know if the weather could've caused it to not start?

Lots of things but the cold is prob. the culpret. If you had any water in your gas, for instance, or if it was cold enought to freeze your gas line?

Warm up your engine.. if it is in a garage, just turn on a heater.

check your battery and such and try again.. If it does not start post what happens here (just saying it won't start is like saying 'I don't feel good'.. that just doesnt tell you a whole lot).

The cold weather might have zapped the battery. If it is turning over but will not start, water in the fuel lines might be frozen if it is still cold outside. It is amazing what kind of mechanical problems cold weather can bring on.

If your battery is weak, and doesn't have enough cold cranking amps, then yes, but when you say it won't start, do you mean it will not turn over..not starting means it spins over but doesn't crank..anyway, check the battery terminals for loose cables, and if you have tried jumping off, will it click and try to turn over.

HOly Crap it could be numerous things. It could be your starter or battery or anything almost. It could have been the weather but maybe its just a coincedence. You need someone to come look at it.

Its probably your battery. They will go dead when setting in cold freezing weather.
Did you have anti-freeze in your radiator?
