Is there a way to hook a CB into an outlet in my house? Or does it have to be hooked up to my truck?

It just has 2 power cables on it... That's it... And I am just wanting it just to hear what all is going on... Because I don't know all their lingo...

This thing says that it is a DC 138 V

You can hook up the CB inside to regular wall outlet.

I think you can buy an adapter that plugs into the wall and converts the power to 12v DC and gives you a connection like in your truck to plug the cb into. check radioshack
