I happened to notice that there seemed to be a lot of questions removed, mostly in just the last day or two, and most of them seemed pretty reasonable! So I went through all the questions I had already answered, and I found 33 questions removed. I had a sincere, honest quetion of my own, removed yesterday, and this really scares me! Do we still have our right to free speech, or are we slowly losing that...along with many other rights????? Please help me to understand!!

My question was not racist, vulgar, threatening, or of extremely poor taste, and many of the 33 questions that I saw had been removed seemed equally benign, as well! I have seen many questions that were far worse that were not removed!!!

I'm with you--I have had a couple of perfectly polite and decent answers deleted.

I can help explain this but whether you understand is up to you.
You have a freedom of speech but this is Yahoo's website & they get to choose what people can post on it. They have a pretty wide latitude, as I would delete a lot more questions & answers than Yahoo does. It is mostly racist, vulgar, threatening or of extremely poor taste questions & comments that get removed. I have never been edited by Yahoo.

I think some people just disagree with others opinions & that gets them removed. If they dont like the question or answers, they should move on to something else I think. I put what I want too, if they dont like, then at least they gotta read it before they rate it.....LOL.....

It depends on how many people complain, I guess.

I had one of mine removed this morning (where I asked about sending all the Black Knuckles clones to Afghanistan).

So, if you stay on topic and generally don't rant or insult people, it's usually not an issue.

Yahoo loves censorship and a lot of people will report you if they disagree with you.
