Regardless of whether it is men or women supporting the rap music industry, it is still misogynistic. Sometimes women can be more chauvinistic and misogynistic than men.Many people enjoy mediums such as hardcore pornography, etc that are degrading, does this mean it is okay? NO. If something is misogynistic, it is misogynistic, it does not matter who likes it or not. Lately, many people in the media have been speaking out against the rap music industry( men and women) because of its treatment of women, violence, and pro-drug/ sex messages.However, there is definitely a link between how people portray women and the standards that an industry has.
