I think the best place to find reading and writing classes is at your local library. Almost all communities have special classes for adults. You may also call ALA (American Library Association) at 1-800-545-2433 and ask if they can give you information about adult literacy programs. Good luck!

You bet they do Rhonda. They need a class just like kids because reading and writing are things you've got to have in today's world. Help with adult classes can be found from your local council/mayor's office/social office/the internet ;just google(search) for adult English classes in.....(your local area).

Why should it be weird? Just because a book is mostly aimed at the teenage market, doesn't mean that it is solely for them.. just as many "adult" books are read by teens... and many of them introduced to them by Teachers and other adults... Just enjoy reading them and what the heck!
