Can anyone tell me the quickest, easiest, cheapest way to get a CDL "A"?

Take the local college's class on driving. You can sign up with a company and they usually pay for everything. In doing so, you'll be contracted with them for a set amount of time, but after that time's up you're free to drive for who you want.
