being a young teen, most of my teen friends own their own digital camera, and u know how teens are (other then myself) they LOVE uploading pics onto their 'webpage' (ex-Myspace)....WELL I HATE THAT!!, and I'm Paranoid if some one will take my pic and then upload it on the internet!
People can Easily STEAL my photo, and try to imposter me, and try to make a whole new identity saying that my face is theirs...(THIS HAPPENS ALOT IN THE INTERNET WORLD)
and even make a hateful webpage with my picture
or even pedafiles staring at my picture,
I'm paranoid, I FIND IT HARD how people couldn't be either!
Theres this event where i have to go to (MY friend's 16th BIG- B-day bash, which is in a banquet hall), and people will probably want to take my pic, HOW CAN I AVOID HAVING MY PICTURE TAKEN, without seeming rude???

You seem to young to be this paranoid. I may be making things worse by saying this but, how do you know people havent taken your picture yet?? You dont need to have a camera in front of you to have your picture taken. The truth is that you are kind of overreacting although your concern is genuine but, why would a pedophile choose you? Why would someone copy you??? All im saying is that you have better things to worry about than someone taking your picture. You are young, enjoy life.

hmm i get what u mean i know of a friend (he is a male model)whom someone used his picture in an adult profile!!!!.. i dont think you are paranoid but mabye u can have a group photo instead of a single shot..as long the photos are not offensive it should not be a problem...if your are so worried just politely decline the offer to take any photographs
btw we all should be aware there is no such thing as privacy anymore.. anyone could have taken our photo without even we knowing it(invention of the camera phones)
gd to know someone still do think of the problems of photo stealers..

do u know that even on the streets u may get click by strangers with cell phone camera without u ureself realising it ?
Anyway , urm ..simply be the one taking the camera lol ...so u have the reasons to be not in the pic :D ..

just ask people to not take your picture and if they do then you would appreciate them not placing them on the internet. If they are your true friend then they should honor your request. Congratulations on a great adult decision.

Wear a burqa and say you became a moslem. That way all that will be in the pictures is a picture of a person in a burqa.

just offer taking the picture for them so they can be in the picture and tell them nicely you dont like to be in pix

If you feel uncomfortable in asking them to please not take your pic, then do anything to NOT have them get a shot of your face.
......Turn your head........Put you hand or anything up in front of your face.
