Porn for instance. Am i the only one who believes porn should be accessable to anyone of any age? In objective view, I do not see why it would be so wrong of children seeing nudity. The human body is nothing that should be ashamed of and its natural, yet society censors its exhibition. Honestly what would be wrong of drinking under the age 21? Look back at yourself at the age 16, would you think that drinking would have a different effect on you on that age than when you were 21, except that it was illegal? Weed is another thing, how many people who complain about it actually tried it themselves? Those of you who tried it personally, do you think it is THAT BAD as they say it is? Ciggarettes is A LOT more harmful yet that is legal. Bulimia doesnt have any unrecoverable physical harm to the body either, and no long term effects unless over done. Does anyone else besides me belive there would be a lot less depression and suicides from children if morality and laws dont mix?

I'll comment on a few of these...
If all children were subjected to nudity as a child, my guess is they would be having sex earlier. Children are stupid for the most part so there would be even more pregnancies and STDs.
Marijuana isn't as bad as cigarettes in some regards. However, marijuana is proven to reduce short term memory and cause a change in motor skills. Plus, it can still cause lung problems. Cigarettes just causes more physical harm that can be seen. And I wouldn't want marijuana legalized because like cigarettes, I don't want to have to smell it as I walk behind someone on a sidewalk, etc.
Drinking is done by underage people a lot. But by legalizing it for 16 year olds, we're making more 16 year olds able to easily get it, and therefore, there will be more drunk drivers which is not good for the general population. I know I've done my share of stupid drunk driving. Why make that easier?
And bulimia is bad because it typically is overdone. Which causes issues with rotting teeth, the acids rids of your esophagus lining, and people actually die from it because its hard to stop.

Let's fast forward to a society where porn, for instance, was legal: what would change if it was legal? Is sex nothing but a toy? Porn cheapens sex! It brings about a selfish desire for sex. If porn were made legal, the already sad state of sexual relationships in the world would be made even worse. I'm not sure how old you are, but just imagine, if you will, that you're a parent and your daughter is starring in a porn movie. Would you be ok with that? Sex is meant to be more...meant to be something shared between only ONE man and ONE woman. It takes commitment and devotion and true love. Porn goes against all of that and makes it a selfish act of "what can I get out of this."
As far as the other stuff goes, I honestly don't have an opinion. I know in England parents have their kids drinking wine by the time their 4 years old. They are given a certain amount each day and so taught responsibility. People here know nothing of alcohol responsibility.
Thanks for the question. But, I honestly think that the opposite is true of what you said. Society has brainwashed us to think things contrary to our moral foundations are acceptable! Just my two sence worth though...

Personally I don't think kids should be exposed to porn, but I see no reason not to let them be exposed to nudity. If children saw more people naked they would gain a better appreciation for the sizes and shapes that people come in and we wouldn't have the body acceptance issues that we have today.
A big part of why nudity is equated with sex is because the only nudity most children see is sexual. Whether it be in their dad's Playboys or on the Internet, most of the nudity that a child will encounter will be specifically designed to emote sexual feelings. Kids will always try to find what we don't want them to have, so if we don't let them see nudity they will find porn. If we let them see nudity and we talk to them about sex and about making smart decissions then they'll be less curious.
I'm not flat out comfortable saying that we should make drugs available to children, but alcohol maybe. Kids regularly drink wine in France and no one gets bent out of shape about it. Parents need to educate their kids about the dangers of using alcohol irresponsibly but then allow their kids to try it in a controlled environment if the kids want to. This removes the taboo of drinking and lessens the likelyhood that kids will try it in less controlled situations.

I think we are already seeing what you are describing in today`s society. Unwanted pregnancies, abortions, and STD`s are rampant. The prisons are overcrowed now with drug offenders. What more do you want? The morality issue here is the reason why there is depression and suicides. People cannot deal with what has gone wrong in their lives because they choose to live without any limitations.
