Why would israel attack Iran ? They never have before.
Even after Iran backs the terrorist group Hezzbollah that does carry out attacks against Israel.

If Israel ever attack Iran,unfortunately it won't be only about those 2 countries...many more countries would get involved in this conflict and probably another world war would start...And I don't think Israel will have much supporters beside the US...and I don't see them winning this war...Iran would most definitely be supported by Russia and China...so I don't think Israel has something to win if it attacks Iran...

Israel is the only country right now that can attack Iran with Nuclear weapons and get away with it and come out the winner.
The problem is the public outcry after, and how the world is going to treat israel.
The only other issue is that if Israel where to use Nuclear weapons on Iran, you can almost guarantee the first terrorist group to get their hands on a nuclear weapon is going to use it agenst israel.
Its almost to the point where Israel needs to go in there with conventional weapons, or use a nuclear weapon in a way where it will destroy Irans nuclear program and nouthing else!

No one ever wins in a war yet the winner from this is the rest of us. If Israel attacks Iran then it will have paid the price for a nuclear free Iran that the rest of us are too afraid or too unwilling to pay.
Iran in general and the present rulling class in particular are insane freaks who have shown that nothing is sacred. They have stormed embassies, kidnapped diplomatic staff and engaged in war with their neighbours involving child soldiers, chemical weapons and senseless slaughter.
A nuclear Iran is a threat to the whole world but we want to sleep soundly, pretending that all is well....

In either case, the fallout (pun intended) would be horrific. I think that we will bomb Iran this year. Has anyone else noticed that the new head of Central Command is a naval aviator? We are moving at least 2 carrier battle groups into the Persian Gulf. I'm no prophet, not do I know much about military matters, but I see a connection.

Don't you mean WHEN Israel attacks Iran with nukes. If they do that, they are just showing how totally reprehensible and vicious and disgusting that country really is. Without US intervention (oh, and without US weapons that Israel gets), Israel would lose. They need the US and our money (that they get every year to the tune of a billion dollars).

If it ever happens (& God help us it doesn't), then everyone loses, because there'll be NO END to the repercussions. Look what happend to US- in Iraq! And the Iraqi peoples WELCOMED us at the outset of our "liberating" their country from Sadam! Do you really think the millions & MILLIONS of Iranians are going to take an attack by Israel lying down??! And, what about all of Iran's Arab neighbors? Do you really think they're going to stand idly by- & do nothing? Strong as Israel IS, it's still a tiny country- surrounded by a sea of enemies...-And they have to be VERY carefull about what kind of "storm" they whip up on that sea...

Firstly to all those moralistic wish washy types. There is a winner in war, always a winner. Dont get me wrong - im an anti war advocate, but get real, of course there are winners.
And equally easy to answer is 'Israel', They have nukes and are closely tied to America.

Israel, no question. They can probably do it without our help, but if they need help from the US they will get it. Case closed.
Iran's Arab neighbors? They will not try to help, and they couldn't if they wanted to.
