shouldn't have an effect on how much you sweat because it's a function not related to sweating... removing of hair. The hair itself is not related to the function of sweating either. the next question should be about deodorants and anti-perspirants.... those truly do have an effect on sweating (blocking off the openings in the skin, etc., with petrochemicals)

You don't sweat from hair. You sweat from sweat glands located throughout your armpits. Shaved or not, you will sweat. More if you are hot, less if you are cold. Same goes for shaving yur pubes, or anywhere else you might be hairy. Sweat glands sweat, that's what they do. Hair covers the body, why??? who knows. Smooth pits or not, I suggest a good anti-persperant/deorderant. Anti-P keeps you dryer and fresh smelling, where plain deoderant will wash of with your sweat and you can get to be a funky monkey if you are sweating alot.

For some they sweat more. I haven't heard of anyone sweating less because of being shaved.

it will make you sweat more.
The hair under your arms are there for air ventilation and to cool down, since the arm pit is always in contact with other skin.

When shaving, just use a good anti persperant, than you wont have a problem.

Likely Yes.
The hair is meant to wick away the moisture. And to let air flow under the arm
The hair on your head protects you from the sun.
Your eye brow"s" & lashes protect the eyes.
The hair under you arm and in the croch is to help keep bacteria and fungas from thriving.

Take the hair off, it just requires more up keep.

the hair helps the perpiration move away from your skin. So taking it off will probably make you sweat more. But why would you want to do it?
