Captain Universe is a Marvel Comics character that is actually just a being known as the "uni-power". it goes where grave danger is and possesses a person who's able to help fight evil.
thats the broadest answer i can think of in a Comic book frame of mind.
he-Man was the master of the universe, though i dont know how official that title is. lol.

GOD.
I don't care where you are in the universe, people (and martians) look to GOD as the most wonderful thing there is. Whether GOD exists or not, he is our hero. A hero is someone you look up to, imaginary or otherwise. Well, we sure do look up to GOD!!
