It's a cliche but Dawn (dishwahing liquid) does take grease out of your way.

Goop is a product that comes in a small plastic tub and you can buy it at any auto parts store.

I don't recommend gasoline or kerosene as it will dry and damage your skin and take a lot of cologne to cover the smell, but it will remove grease in a pinch.

waterless soap is a great choice, which you can find in an auto repair store. You just rub it in between your hands and it collects the grease, then you rub it off.

Dish detergent was a good suggestion but since it is winter be sure to use lotion after using that, it really takes the moisture out of your skin.

Either way, go to a dollar store and get a nail brush, that will get the stuff out from under your nails and make your hands feel much cleaner. Finally, consider buying a box of disposable gloves for occasions when you know you will be working and then going out right afterwards.

I use Fast Orange or any hand cleaner with orange in it. They work well. If all else fails use dish detergent, it is better than nothing, as they say, "Dawn takes grease out of the way".

There is a product on the market called GOOP and it works great. My brothers use it and it works very well. You also may wan to try Lava soap - that works good, too.

my bf oiled a table today with tung oil, he came home and said 'i can;t pick up the baby i don't know how to get this oil off my hands... i heard gasoline is the only thing.' i gave him my salt scrub, he used it, rised, then with a dry towel virtually all the oil came off his hands, the salt worked it out of his skin. u can probably get salt scrubs at stores, i never checked, i get it thru arbonne. www.arbonne.com
