i got an optical mouse in my desktop pc with a PS2 port. i want to use it with my laptop which dosent have a PS2 port but 3 USB ports. Please help

Any laptop device will work on a PC. As mentioned the only issues there'd be is the size of the mouse will be smaller, and possible signal range. Desktop wireless mice have an antenna deal that you can place around your computer, since this one is right on the USB plug, the mouse will have to be close enough to work properly. If your desktop has front loading USB ports this might not be a problem.

To use a PS2 mouse on your desktop computer to a USB port on your laptop, you will need to buy a small adaptor plug that has one end a PS2 hole and then the other end is a USB plug. That adaptor should cost less than $10.00 at any computer electronic store.

You can get adapters for it for a few bucks, wal*Mart has them probably.
