I feel absolutely out of control of my emotions. I'm getting married this weekend and I've been fine until now about everything. Now that everyone is in town and getting ramped up, though, I feel nervous, excited, anxious, worried, scared, elated...all in under 10 minutes. Whats really unnerving is my fiance is completely calm about everything. Isn't the guy supposed to be the one that freaks out?!? I am not having doubts or anything like that, I'm just on a rather unprovoked emotional roller coaster. Am I being ridiculous or is this normal? FYI: First marriage for both of us, no kids, I'm 23, he's 30.

Nothing is wrong with you. It's perfectly normal to feel completely overwhelmed and to have that last minute panicky feeling that anything could go wrong (although it won't matter if it does because only a handful of you would know if something didn't work out perfectly).
One piece of advice...I was SO nervous about my wedding and reception that I can't remember most of it. I didn't have a great time because I was worried about every little thing. So, on your wedding day, every once in awhile take a deep breath and look around and take everything in. Go with the flow, be confident that all the preparations are completed and whatever happens will add flavor and memories to the day.
Good luck and HAVE FUN!!

First off, why are you nervous and he's not? He's a thirty year old man. He's probably thrilled that he's not going to be a life long bachelor. His parents are probably going "Oh, thank god, it's about time. We thought you'd never give us grandkids."

You are young. I'm sure you've heard "Are you sure he's the right one?" "Did you think about this?"

So, it's normal to be nervous. It's a big commitment. You're the star of the show, and it's a once in a life time event (or so we all hope for you). Think if you were given a one time shot to star on your favorite show? You think you wouldn't be this nervous? Yeah, right. So why not now? This is Your time to be in the spotlight, and all eyes are on you. Enjoy it, and know that being nervous is all part of the big event.

Good luck, and I hope the best for you.

Of course you're on an emotional roller coaster. You're about to get married. How much more emotional can life be?
As to your questions. First, it is normal. Second, he is probably freaking out, too. Because us men must keep our emotions looked up, we try hard to be the pillar of strength. Also, if you knew, you might think he doesn't love you enough.
Go with what you really feel.

getting married is a big thing in a persons life and will cause all those emotions. Some men are better at hiding them and/or better at handling the stress. Are you sure you are not having any relationship doughts. If so....listen to your inner feelings girl! Marriage is for life or atleast it is supposed to be.
