I used cytotec once for abortion but nothing happened, still pregnant(10weeks) is my baby affected?

I took one orally and 2 via vaginal, only once, i bleed for about 10 days very little, i thought that was it , I was only 4 weeks far, it didnt work I am now 10 weeks pregnant and planning on keeping the baby but I want to be sure that what I did, did't affect the baby in any way, does anybody have an answer based in a good source or experience, I will really appreciate the feed back.

I read this on the internet about Cytotec (Misoprostol)

The chance that using Misoprostol will cause an abortion is only 80 %. The treatment failed when the medicines did not cause any bleeding at all or there was bleeding but the pregnancy still continued.
There is a small increased risk of birth defects such as deformities of the hands or feet and problems with the nerves of the foetus, if the pregnancy continues after attempting abortion with these medicines. Some doctors might consider this as a reason for a legal abortion, so try to find one.

I also put in a link for drugs.com and what it says about cytotec. I would find out what the chances are that your baby will have a defect from your doctor. Good luck to you and your baby.

There was a case where a doctor was slipping his girlfriend cytotec in her food to get her to about the baby. Well he spent 5 years behind bars and lost his medical license. Up until the delivery time all the tests including many ultrasounds showed the baby to be normal. The baby was stillborn. If you want an abortion why did you try this drug. Now the only thing you can do is seek proper medical care and pray.

How about asking a doctor! What made you change your mind? Quite a leap you took in 6 weeks, from abortion to wanting to keep the baby. Make sure you are ready for this and any consequences that may occur because of your failed attempt. I wish you luck.

Please please go see a doctor. You or your baby could be in serious danger! I am glad you decided to keep it but if you had to get an abortion, you should have gotten it done professionally.. I really hope everything turns out ok but please go to the doctor!
