There is speculation that life evolved on Mars before Earth and then transferred here. So, if this is true, I suppose you could say the civilisation that did live on Mars a long time ago, are our direct ancestors and we are their offspring !

According to Edgar Rice Burroughs the Civilization that lived on Mars was called the Barsoomians from the planet Mars or Barsoom as they called it, even the green skinned Thrak called themselves Barsoomians.

Technically, there are none.
With all the probes and rovers up there, we have no sign of life. If there is life on Mars, it's probably only little green bugs (bacteria) instead of being little green men.
With that being said, however, the civilizations can be Martians (hehe), or UAC (from Doom III)
