A lady I know has a goat who is a precocous milker, an animal who produces milk without ever giving birth. It's been fine as she's been used as a milk goat, but now the udder is over producing and her vets are being a**holes about the whole thing saying there isn't anything they can do. Any suggestions???

Kute, FYI that's what her neighbors, who are farmers, said. Know what happened to their's and your's stupid advice? She now has a severe infection and may lose her udder. She's so swollen they can't milk her, and the vets don't drain goats, they only do it on cows so they say.

Some vets are dodgy , find another rural/semi rural vet who could help. Or call a goat breeder and they may reccomend you to a decent vet.

It is very good of you to care about her , goats are lovely creatures.
