First problem, when I go over any bumps it just feels like the wheel is not stable, almost like the steering wheel shifts a little when I go over the bumps (even small bumps). Also, when I go over speed bumps it makes a creaking noise. Second, the transmission sometimes has a whirring noise. Third, when I speed up & then let go of the gas it kind of feels like the car pulls a little. Someone help me... I can't afford to get a new car just yet...

First sounds like possible tie rod(s), the creaking could be be struts and you may be able to put it off, second the trans; if it is a stick shift the clutch need adjustment or replacement...if it is automatic, you are low on fluid or you have transmission problems.

For your first problem, it sounds like you have loose suspension parts ie: idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods, etc. Or maybe your wheel really is loose? Get out and rock your car to see if you can see anything or where its coming from. Second problem, I don't know, you might be low on tranny fluid, seek help with transmission shop. Third, could be a brake sticking on one side to cause the car to pull. Your car is 10 yrs old and things do wear out. You better get the transmission checked out first, then worry about the steering. Take it to an allignmnet shop and they should be able to fix it.

Sound to me like you have got more than one problem.
the feeling in the steering could be either tie rod end or your steering rack is loose. the other sounds like CV joints or wheel bearing, Either way it would be advisable to get it checked out as these are all safety items that could cause an accident if they fail

Sounds like the tie rods
Get it fixed it's dangerous. The hold the tires in place without them your wheel could either turn outward (like they do when turning the wheel) except only one tire would do so and you would lose complete control of the vehicle

Get it checked right away. A ball joint could be ready to separate. If that happens, you could lose a wheel and total the car.

It's probably due for some work! There is no car that doesn't need work take it to a garage, not an oil change place, and get it checked over.

Autumn is right, it is a 10 year old foreign car. If it was a Ford, it'd be in a junk yard.

struts are worn out and your tie rods can have a lot of play in them due to the wear and tear over the years it has been driven and the miles can play a lot of the wear also

It sounds pretty normal, just aging. It will still last for a while, I'd say. A friend of mine who knows nothing about cars and does not take very good care of his 93 Civic has no real problems with his.

I would start with checking front struts and wheel bearings.
