Yes they do on each one, Xhbit the host said it on an episode about a year ago. Since that shows only a half hour they don't want to bore the MTV crowd with engine talk (especially the teenybopper girls)

They do. Overhaulin' is a better show.it's a cross between pimp my ride and punk'd just better.They tear the whole car down then fix it badass!They make grown men cry when they get their cars back.By the way, about pimp my ride and overhaulin" if you read the small print ,the people who get their cars fixed have to pay something,taxes or some **** but its worth it to fix the car.

I hate pimp my ride...Overhaulin' is WAY better and I was surprised that I would actually like that show! They don't try to add 10 tvs and dvd players into places that don't need them.

Actually, more often than not, they DO replace the motors. Especially if that's what's giving the car owner trouble. I mean, if they find something wrong, obviously they'll fix it or repair it. They are mechanics first afterall.
