I'm 15. I've been getting periods for awhile. Anyway, They aren't regulated. Like one day i'll have it.. and wont the next day.. I skip months.. sometimes I go awhile without 1. I still get cramps though.. whenever I have it. I have lost weight.. and yes, I have been doing it the heathly way. But, I am wondering if that might have something to do with it. I feel fine. If you were me, what would you do?

this is sooo familiar i am 17 and have had mine since i was 10, and it has never been regular... i skip months, get it twice in one month sometimes, 2 weeks at a time on occasion... annoying...
it could be that you have lost weight but i doubt it. If you have lots of female friends that you hang out with sometimes that throws it off. Other peoples hormones change your cycles around. Whenever my sister comes home from university we both get it,. even if i just had it a week prior... its nothing to wrry about it is just a nuissance

It's normal for your period to be irregular for a while after you start having them. I am wondering how much weight you lost and how thin you are. Also being too thin can affect periods. It would be good to go to a gynecologist to find out what is really going on with you.

It's not abnormal for your periods to be irregular....at any age but especially in your early teens. Losing weight may have an affect. It's probably best to mention it to your mom or doctor next time you see him/her. Don't worry too much it's probably nothing.
