The guy who called this a hardcore gaming computer would not know a hardcore gaming computer if it fell from a window onto his head. (The video card is a budget card, doesn't game AT ALL.) Anyway, it is a nice setup, but my one recommendation is, cut the warranty to 1 year. I would say get rid of compeletely, but you can't. Dell makes good computers, but their warranties are pointless. Also, try looking at the E521s, they are basically the same, but use the AMD processors, which are very good, not quite as fast as the Core 2 Duos, but are very good, and are at a VERY good price from Dell right now.

Their customer support is the worst. I once bought a Dell, it was problems out of the box. I called and waited over 30 min. for a tech, when I finally get one he’s a immigrant I could barely understand. To fix my problem he advised me to disable all my USB’s, I told him that wasn’t an option, so he asked me to ship it back for repair…. repair a new computer? (when I say new I mean I received it that same day) I returned it and built my own.
BTW, that is far from a serious gaming machine.

It's a serious computer, and the price doesn't seem bad. I would strongly NOT recommend a Dell, though. We had an old Compaq and upgraded to a Dell PC. The customer service was absolutely horrible and the computer never once worked the way it was supposed to. We went out and bought another Compaq after a few years of putting up with the Dell. I've met other people that swear by Dell, but I hate 'em and would never recommend them to anyone. I prefer HP myself, but that's just me.

I will never buy a Dell Computer again. They promised me a flat screen monitor and send a regular monitor, when i phoned about it, it was like tough luck. Just because they list things, does not necessarily mean you will receive it. Watch out.

It depends what your using it for. It sounds like a very hard-core gaming/video and imaging editing and storeing computer. If you just want to go online and check your E-mail, this ones not for you. If your like me and like to see your Flight Simulator game performing to the max where you can actually see all the little people walking around on the ground with 0 lag, yup that seems like a good one :P
