be comfortable! years ago people in vegas got dressed to a "T" when they went to casinos.....not anymore!!! wear something casual, comfortable (shoes specially) and easy to wear the whole night as you will be out till the early mornings cruising the strip and doing a lot of walking as it is so much fun to jump from one casino to another...

I know you will love our city and I hope you will return many times. That time of year you still may need a light jacket at night. Dress to impress for the clubs, a bit of sparkle is great. No gym shoes for men though, so make sure he brings some nice shoes for the clubs. Other than that, bring comfy, but nice clothes. I know it seems that many people wear their sloppiest clothes, but Las Vegas has a nice history of people wanting to dress up a bit. During the day you can wear anything from jeans to Juicy sweats. For Dave Matthews dress comfortably and get ready to have a fantastic time, you need not dress up for a concert. Maybe some nice jeans and a great top. This town is so much fun, I hope you enjoy!

At the end of march is some of the best weather of the year. You'll probably be looking in the 60's to 70's and clear with no humidity for weather.
As far as clubbing, if you are staying at MGM, places like Tabu and Studio 54 require you to dress well (dress to impress). You will want to bring something upscale for clubbing. Your boyfriend will need a collared shirt and slacks. No denim or hats at most clubs.
They aren't as strict for women, but generally they still have the no denim policy.

I was in Vegas in December...Most people dress like they shop at Walmart.....honestly....The women who wear tight mini dresses or other clubbing type attire ready for a night out on the town will get questionable looks from people who think they may be a hooker.....Seriously....I had same question as you did what to wear and I brought clothes that I would wear to a club or night on the town and then noticed nobody dressed up in Vegas except the hookers....Some of the higher class hookers in the casinos looked hookerish but tamer then the ones outside the casinos....Min skirts, fishnets and pumps and gobs and gobs of makeup...I decided to go business casual most of the time but mainly people wore jeans and tennis shoes because you have to do so so so much walking in vegas as everything is set up to make you walk through the casinos to get to anything (and hopefully play right) that your feet hurt BITTIME if you dont wear comfortable walking shoes...

Definitely the norm is to dress like a slob, unfortunately.
Even in the best restaurants and the best shows, most guys aren't in jacket and tie.
Kinda disappointing really.
So, judging from your question, you don't want to go and look like a slob. Good for you.

If you've got it, flaunt it!
You'll be amongst the beautiful people. Bring something sassy and classy for the club and something comfortable for the concert.
I'd also suggest bringing a pair of walking shoes that you don't get blisters from and perhaps a hoodie or light jacket, just in case it gets
nippy.
I hope that you and hubby have an excellent time!
