I heard most of them dominate convenience stores and corner shops (I haven't travelled to UK) and there is strong mutual hatred between Whites and Asians - or at least a LOVE-HATE relationship.

Is it a "chalk and cheese" kind of relationship or a "matchstick and gunpowder" kind?

There can be no precise description, as many different people come from many different areas, and experience different good and bad sides to each others lifestyles. It's stereotyping one race
which breeds this paranoid "forced tollerance" culture.

In the light of the recent attacks on the UK from asian terrorists, it would be quite right to say that it has damaged realtions between whites and Asians, but only through fear, and a lack of knowledge, and communication between the two societies.

i wouldn't say it was a matchstick and gunpowder thing or chalk and cheese. Sure some asians (especially those born here, but raised strictly in an asian community) are boudn to be very different in terms of culture to white UK citizens, and this will cause friction, because to an average white person in UK, this person is living an almost completely seperate culture. And to the UK Asian, they are as much British as the white person, but choose to live how they want to live.

I think if theres one thing that can be said to blame for any tension between races in teh UK is that, when the immigration started, not enough was done by both sides to ensure full integration techniques were used. It was almost as though our government said "Come in, stay in our houses, but keep quiet, and don't cause any bother" Which is almost treating them like guests, and unwelcome guests at that. On the part of the Asians, it seems like not enough has been done on their part to integrate themselves into British life. This is still very generally speaking of course ;) Alot of Asians (and many many other races) live very communal lives, entire areas of cities being lived in by one race.

I have an "aquaintance" who is involved with BNP meetings, and although their views sometimes stray off onto the "colourful side of politics" they did make a point at one stage by saying,

"perhaps different races aren't meant to co-exist like this"

Not sure if he had a point there or not really, but somethign to think about all the same.

Most Asians and whites get on fine in the UK. If that wasn't the case there would be pitched battles in the news everyday. The conflicts are between a minority of stupid young men on both sides who have too much testosterone and not enough brains. The scum press then exaggerate any conflict to whip everyone up.
For you to believe that there is a strong mutual hatred between all whites and all Asians in the UK suggests that someone is seriously disrespecting you by feeding you exceptionally inaccurate information.

Its not so good at the moment with the majority of young Males from Inner Cities showing absolute hatred for one another.
The wise amongst Asians/Blacks.Whites are doing the best to reduce racial tensions before the get out of hand.
I for one would be happy to spread the peace if I knew away of getting community work. I live in a mixed area where most folk get on with their neighbours. On the same row of houses I have 3 Asian 2 White and 1 Black family and never has there been any trouble. I play rugby with one of the Asian lads , which is a sport Asians dont usually pursue.

Well it is going to depend on where you live. If you live in Oldham or Bradford, you are going to hold a different viewpoint to me, here in Liverpool.

Besides, we all know Arabs are now public enemy number 1, the blacks and the Irish can't believe their good luck!
