Should Washington just have not made the comment last nite at the Golden Globes and brought it back to the news? Should he be fired from the show?

Of course he shouldn't have. Now it looks like he could even lose his job too. What a jerk. Maybe he was just trying to be funny. Why would he blow it like that ?

They should not have asked the question.

He should not have answered the question.

He should not be fired.

He id not call TR the name he is accused of calling him.

TR heard him refer to him in that manner but the comment was not directed to TR.

That is what Isaiah told the press.

He was truthful.

TR in in fact a homosexual. That is what the word refers to in this context.

I have heard gay friends call each other the same thing and there should be no double standard applied to the word. It is just letters on a page.

I might feel differently if he went to TR and started calling him names but that is not the case here. He was talking to Patrick and TR was passing by. TR said this on Ellen today.

People should let it go and get on with their lives.

I think the only one who loses here are people who like the show the way it is. That includes the cast.

Put this in another context. If someone called him the N word, they would take a ton of heat, probably lose their job and go into rehab. Its acceptable for black people to say that to each other, but inacceptable to have other groups say it to them.
Its very similiar to gay people. What is ok to do amongst the same group may not fly so well with outsiders.

Why would he be fired from the show? Sorry to burst your bubble, but they wont fire him over that. He'll apologize and everyone will move on with life. He just needs to watch his mouth in the future.

People are way too oversensitive these days. If he's putting it out publicly that he's a ****, then he's a **** - facts are facts. Remember that the majority of Americans see homosexuality as deviant and unnatural - you take your chances when you come out.

Now, if he wasn't a **** and Washington called him a ****, then he should be upset!

Washington seemed exasperated over having to repeatedly answer for his actions, but he really was insensitive and out of line. He's sort of saying one think and doing another. Maybe he's got a case of demons. He probably wasn't raised to think positively of gay people but is now trying to seem like something he really isn't: tolerant.

I think they are pulling a Rosie and trying to boost ratings and see if she will jump on the freud and up their ratings for them.

Yeah.........he should get the boot! seems too hard for the rest of the cast to have to get along with. His comments are uncalled for...serious!

I don't think he should lose his job for being an HONEST jerk. I mean the guy is a homosexual. It's not like he lied.
