Is it as good as the commercial says, I especially want to hear if anyone has any negative information about it. Am thinking about getting it but can't decide if it is just a gimmick.

about a year and a half ago my acne got worse on my chin and forhead. i felt really self concious about it, so i begged my mom for proactiv. she caved and bought it for me. i definitely regret that decision now. after using it for a few weeks i noticed that i was getting zits on my cheeks, which had NEVER happened before. then a few weeks after that i noticed that whenever a zit would start to heal, instead of going away it would scar. that happened for every single one. my scars are just almost gone now, almost a year after i stopped using it. they weren't permanent scars, but they made me really self concious. more than the acne. i use neutrogena oil free acne wash in the morning now, and clean and clear makeup removing foaming cleanser at night. the only time i get zits now is when i'm too tired to wash off my makeup at night.
even though i've heard of a couple people who proactiv's worked for, i personally would not recommend it.

I should not have a lot of acne, absolutely barely any. Only a few spots right here and there but I wish to aspire to have excellent epidermis. I concept proactive would aid. However i suppose it's just for individuals with exact acne. I used it, cleared proper up, then i ended making use of it and it acquired means worse. Then I used some stuff from the states known as Zapzit I feel. It worked, haven't had a difficulty since.

I did and it made my acne worst. The think the stars on the commercials get the good type of Proactiv. And we get the watered down kind or something.

My sister has used it for years now, and it has definitley helped her alot, her face is completely clear, except for the occasional small pimple or two, but for the most part it workks amazing, it works for most people, but there will always be some people that are exceptions.

I haven't used it personally, but people I know do and swear by it. One of my friends had really bad acne before she started using it, but ProActiv cleared her face up a lot.

It dries the skin out even if you have oily skin. But thats just my experience. You can try the sample and pay just a little and see if you like it. I think also you can return it.

I had real bad breakouts it really helped me. I think it is worth the money. Just stick to it , it is a routine you have to keep up. You can't expect it to work overnight.

my friends niece used it and it cleared her skin up pretty good. i know that she has stopped using it and i hadn't seen her for awhile until recently and let me just say that her skin looks worse now then before she had ever started using it.
