I do not understand the ending. Why would Alex Meade want to take over MODE magazine if he was going to INHERIT the entire company anyway? What is with the whole "trans-gender" thing going on? I am so confused!

I know right!!!! I feel the same way! It doesn't make sense, the family seems to be so heart broken over the loss of the brother Alex, & then he is a trans!!! I'm like whoa! Why do they have to make it so confussing for the viewers!

Personally, I think that Alex killed off Faye to get her out of the way. And he's going to try and set up his father for Faye's death with whatever is in the envelope Wilhemina gave to the Scottish chic for the police. Then he'll swoop in and take over because obviously he doesn't want to wait around till dad croaks to inherit everything. Of course, he could have just killed off Faye AND his dad...then he would have gotten Mode.
Hmm, okay, I guess this doesn't make sense then. Oh well, I'm sure Betty will save the day!

i actually think..my most logical guess (although, clearly with this show, logic isn't a priority) is that bradford did not approve of a transgender son and most likely alex wanted to go on with his surgery and bradford threatened to kick him off the will or something along those lines...hence alex wanting to take over the company and revenge against his father...
although, the fey pretending to be alex part would be an interesting twist to things..although the only glitch is that during most gender changes (not sure, making an assumption here) doesn't the facial structure stay the same?
i guess we can only wait and watch!

I was totally thrown by that ending. I still think that Rebecca Romijn is playing Faye. Faye is pretending to be a transgendered Alex Meade so she can be welcomed back to Mode w/ open arms. Also, she has to come back as someone other than Faye in order to set-up Mr. Meade for Faye's murder!

I'm just as confused! When I saw the end I was like "HUH?". And it sucks even more that they are showing a rerun next week so we have to wait to figure out what is going on. I thought the person wrapped in the bandages was Fay....damn! The next episode better be good!

You know I like the last answer. But at the same time think about it.... His father has been trying to get rif of clues that could lead him to feys death. So while poss. at the same time its unlikely. But if you're right ill buy you a drink lol!
