How can you solve it if you haven't set its value? There's no equal sign, the equation's not balanced. Maybe you are supposed to factor this? I think you might be misusing a term.

= (9y)^3- (8x^2)^3
=(9y-8x^2)(81y^2+72x^2y+ 64x^4)
