My son is in the 4th grade gifted program so he is doing 7th grade math and 9th grade reading and he has so much work to do sometimes it seems like there is no time to be a kid. I tell him to keep organized and to make an outline for each day. When you first get home from school go through the amount of work you have to do for each class. Start with the one that will take you the longest to finish so that when it's done you feel a sense of accomplishment which makes the rest of the work go smoother. Next do the homework you like the most. That will also help to keep you feeling good and get you through the rest of the work. Keep the quickest work for last so that when your almost to it you get another boost by thinking how quickly you can get that done. Make sure that as your going through your work, you have a snack of fruit or something tasty. Focus and just know that having homework is nothing compared to having mouths to feed and bills to pay and be glad your still young. It'll all be over before you know it and you'll be wishing that homework was all you had to do. Good Luck!

First, prioritize your homework. Example: if you have a test tomorrow and a paper due in a week, concentrate on the material for the test.
THEN work on the paper after tomorrow...
Also, having a little calendar book (you can purchase one at any Hallmark store) that you can write down the due dates of homework assignments may help you organize your time better..
If you have a really big test in a week, take 15 minutes each night and review the material. The day before, just go over your notes.
Make sure you get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast!! You'll be well-rested and a lot less stressed.
Good luck!

Hi,
It's all about time management.
*Get organized as soon as you get home.
**Do the easier stuff first. If you have chores/lessons/sports, take care of these after you get the easiest stuff done first (i.e, daily timed reading assignments, stuff you can do and check for accuracy right away, etc.).
**If you don't have any after school stuff to do, get the easiest stuff done first, then get some light exercise (not more than 30 minutes).
*Before dinner, get the toughest assignments done and check it for accuracy.
*Eat dinner.
*Organize your clothes for the next day, take a shower/bath.
*Finish up your homework, and check it for accuracy.
*Make sure everything is packed away, and ready to go for the next day (i.e, homework, lunch, extra school supplies, etc.).
*Hit the sack, knowing that everything has been taken care of, and that you'll be ready to fly out of the door tomorrow, because you already got it ALL done the night before!
Time management isn't easy, but it really will help you out in everything you'll ever do for the rest of your life, if you get a start on it right now.
Good luck!

Hey, I feel the same way. I have finals next week and teachers are piling CIM tasks and study guides too. You first need to have a place to write down what you need to do. it needs to be something that you'll keep and actually use. Write down all assignments and due dates. Also write down test dates and what activities you have to do after school. Set up a set time after school to do your homework and try to keep to it.

what my kids do when they get home from school is eat a snack, then they sit down and start. if they are feeling overwhelmed with a subject then they do a little bit then switch to another subject, then come back to the first one. sometimes if you break it down into 15-20 minute sessions it's easier and you don't get so overwhelmed.
also no tv or radio on. once they are done they can do what they want.

just relax, you can only do so much. try talking to your teacher(s), let them know you've got a lot to do in a little time, if there's any way to maybe have a few extra days, sometimes (i knew from experience :-) they will understand just explain you've got things going on and do your best don't stress out, take a deep breath and smile :-)

your self coverage will construct once you really hit upon love for your self. seem contained in the reflect and word how outstanding you're. talk what makes you chuffed. In time, you'll really shine. even as someone sees that self assurance, they are going to be attracted to that potential and can want to favor to be round you.
