Please don't say its a cycle because I know that. I just want to know where you think is the best place to start. Please support your opinion with something other than the bible (not that I have a problem with it). Please. Please. PLEASE.

Probably poverty because we have to feel some security in our life before we can look beyond today, which is what education requires and poverty cannot afford to do.

Poverty and lack of education are mere symptoms of something much more sinister: human nature.
Do you think that there would be much poverty if we could abolish greed? Could a nation of children go without education if there were no such things as pride and ego? I'd just as well assume that crying is the problem when a child has a wound.

poverty drains all our resources. Education doesn't make a person a decent or wise person. Thus the term "educated fools" Most poverty is brought on by lack of basic education (not college, just common functioning) and mostly lack of morals.

In the U.S. lack of education is bigger than poverty.

But in poorer countries like hondurus and chile poverty is BIG and lack of education is major.

i would say they are both an equal problem in the world to countries who rely on allies and who have a weak government like places in africa and south america.. but in places like Europe and China, Russia, the US, Australia.. lack of education is bigger

Lack of education:

REASON------ If folks were wiser, more knowledgable, "educated", then hopefully there would be less poverty.

Both problems are horrible since they affect real human beings.

Education, the problem is the world is too busy worrying about their own narcissitic thoughts than worrying about helping others. How is it possible we are in a war while there is a genocide in africa?
