i want to be an actor, whats the best college to go to and the classes to take in order to help me become an actor

While I'm glad you think you should go to college first, it will not make you an actor. Realize that about 82% of "actors" are unemployed. While in college you can learn about back-up theatre jobs that keep you in the business AND pay better than being a busboy at a New York restaurant while you wait for your "big break."
That said, The University of Pittsburgh has an excellent Theatre Arts department. The great thing about theatre is that it's everywhere... not just LA and NY.

Acting is tough business, make sure your temperament is best suited for the hardship it takes to make it BIG there. If you think you need to learn then you should talk to thethe accomplished once. There advice for you would be the most valuable apt for you.
Ignore negative cliches about actors & entertainment industry.
PERSEVERANCE is the key to success.

go to Broadway, get into audition maybe you'll got a chance to become an actor.
