It has been 6 months since I had my baby and still when I have sex that area is still very tender and sore, Is it possible that I wasn't stiched up correctly ?

You should regurn to your OB doctor and have him examine your episiotomy...it should not be tender at this late stage, unless there is a lot of scar tissue, or it has become infected... (not likely).

Six months really isn't that long. I still had occasional discomfort well up until like a year after the birth of my child. I think it's fairly common.

it could be scar tissue but you should check with your doctor
