My girlfriend has a bump next to her chest on the underarm? Is this a bad sign or something? And also she has had this for at the most 2 years. Is this a health issue or just caused from stress?

It is likely a reacting lymph gland or a small lipoma (benign fatty tumour). Lymph glands swell if an infection is present and sometimes stay in a tumescent state afterwards.

It's probably nothing to worry about BUT if you are a woman and you find a lump anywhere near your breast or armpit you should have it checked out by a doctor as soon as possible.

if she's had it for awhile then probably nothings wrong. but really the best person to ask is a doctor seen in person, not on yahoo answers....

That is so weird. . my friend has been complaining of that. . she says it's really tender there also. . i would be interested to know the answer also. .
