It has now been announced that the fourth album has Wade, Woolstenhulme and Soderberg as its lineup. The title remains unconfirmed, with the band referring to the album as "Album Number Four".

Two songs that are rumored to be on the forthingcoming album are Crash and Burn and The Edge, which have both been played at concerts. The Edge is originally from Lifehouse's early days when they were still Blyss. Jason said that roughly half the songs are (at least) piano driven, implying that this CD will be yet another step away from the group's first two albums. To reinforce this fact, Lifehouse recently contributed their previously unreleased song Good Enough as part of the soundtrack for the Disney film The Wild, which is a very mellow and piano driven ballad. Inclusion of the song on Album Number Four is speculated, though neither confirmed or denied by the band.

Album Number Four currently has about 9 songs recorded, of which a few are claimed to "rock a little harder" than their self-titled album, Lifehouse.source. The band has confirmed that they intend to release Album Number Four in early 2007. Jason Wade has named three songs from the new album: "Sings in Life", "The First Time" and "Who We Are". Bryce Soderberg has confirmed that the song "Mesmerized" will be on the new album.

It is rumored that Lifehouse will do a worship album under the name Mr. Tumnus (From The Chronicles of Narnia.) It may include Jason Wade, Sergio Andrade, and the drummer from Blyss. Mr Tumnus seems to be a side project of Jasons and may not be their 4th album. A recent interview with Lifehouse from Jesusfreak Hideout shows that they will make album four (be it Mr. Tumnus or another) after summer touring. Several songs from the new album have been played at live concerts, such as Crash and Burn in NC.
