Because women are more serious and have to get on with their lives and families, while men can be more irresponsible and self indulge in Yahoo answers, beer and answering or asking frivolous questions or answers.

I don't think so. I think it depends on the questions that women tend to answer and the ones you tend to read that make it look like, to you, that fewer women are in here.

there are one of those solid modern-day females. lots of my acquaintances are experts - attorneys, medical doctors, organisation proprietors & and so on., some like me chosen to resign careers ( i'm an accountant) to augment impressive toddlers & households. I too became round in the course of the ladies's stream & it became all about determination. None of my acquaintances are stupid women & might want to be bowled over to be called the type of demeaning call. those who rock the cradle rule the international. there are a mess of solid females from Condeleeza Rice & Hillary Clinton to my chum Marilyn. they are in basic terms over the age of 30 in many cases, all of us had to mature into our own minds. Now adult men are a diverse tale, what's with married adult men hitting on me. I were married 33 yrs & might want to by no ability spoil my dedication. adult men want to strengthen up - i do no longer undergo in ideas them being so immature.

It depends which area you are in whether there are more men or more women. In the Pregnancy and childbirth etc section there are far more women.
