You can use modeling clay to form the tummy of a momma cat with babies inside; use small (beany baby size) stuffed animals to represent a kitten; and larger, life-size stuffed animal to represent an adult.....

You could do some research on kittens and cats first. Go to the library and get some videos of raising kittens and how they change into cats as they grow. Go to the SPCA or a humane society and see what they have to offer. Kittens are frisky and become more docile and less energetic as they get older. Remember- curiosity killed the cat (especially when they are young)! For the first stage, you could have a model or structure of a kitten attacking a mouse or attacking your feet. For the later stages, you could make a model of yourself accidentally stepping on the cat's tail while it lazily sleeps or steps under your feet and takes a swat at you for stepping on it!
