Absolutely...the blood type of the father is meaningless. If the mother and baby are negative and positive, however, there is a simple injection to take before delivery, and a few tests of the baby after delivery. Nothing to worry about, it happened to me.

Yes, the father's blood type doesn't matter. If the mother had a negative blood type, she & the baby could have an incompatibility (which would only possibly be a problem if she had another baby that was positive), but since she's positive, it won't make any difference to the baby.

Absolutely. Even in cases of Rh incompatibility (negative mother, positive father/baby), two Rh immune-globulin shots are administered to the mother to avoid potential problems.

yes its the opposite way around that could create a problem. if the woman is negative and man is positive.. its not a problem at all however if the woman gets a Rhogam shot during pregnancy, andalso after birth if the baby is positive. this shot prevents rh sensitivity from occuring and therefore future babies wont have RH disease. so all is fine.

the man's rh factor has nothing to do with the health of the child. My daughter's father is O- and I am O+.... my daughter is O+ --- even if she were O- it's not a problem since I'm O+... if I were O- it may present a problem in the NEXT pregnancy, but not this one.

Yes but there will be Rh issues and they should consult a physician before conceiving and be closely watched through out. Also the second child is generally the pregnancy with issues.
