After a LOT of checking around, I decided on an Epiphone acoustic, the cost was only $450 dollars with a hardshell case, and it also has a built in pickup.
The best bang for the buck to be sure.
The sound is great, good enough for a pro-level player like myself,
And it won't bankrupt you either.
I can give you the exact model number if you'd like.

I'd have to go with Ovation, but I have had some people swear by Yamaha too. I like Ovations because I can get the action nice and low and am able to play a decent lead without tearing up my fingers. Also, the fullness of the tone is incomparable.

Everyone knows Martin makes the very best. When salespeople talk about the brands they sell you often hear "it sounds as good as a Martin". I say buy the best. You can get an entry level Martin for $600 or so. Sounds pricey but for a lifetime warranty and the best sound, it's worth it.

I would say seagull.
Ovations are cool too but pricy, and have a fake kinda tone. Just an opinion though
