Well I haven't personally done this but I have read stories of women who did use this method in helping them to conceive. I am not sure how long they kept it in there for, I would imagine not that long. Remember semen are like salmon they know where they are supposed to go and what not it is just a matter of timing it right, you could use that instead cup ( what the cups are called ) everytime you have sex and it might or might not aid in helping to get pregnant. if you are not ovulating or producing the proper cervical mucus to allow the sperm to swim to their targeted area then it would pretty much be pointless. Sperm can live inside the womans body for anywhere between 2-7 days if all the right elements are there for them. I have the book Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler and I read a story in there about a couple that were having a tough time trying to conceive that they were told about taking an actual egg white and letting it sit until it was room temperature and used a needless syringe to inject it up there to their surprise it actually worked. It allowed the sperm to swim to their targeted destination better. I have not heard of any negative things from doing this, I personally would speak with my doctor before doing this. Good luck I hope this helped a bit. Take care and tons of baby dust to you.

Yey to the affection ^_^ Menstrual cups are effective whilst swimming - they are actually better for swimming because of the fact they don't leak like tampons do, they are able to be left in for longer (no annoying approximately changing or leaking whilst swimming), they are able to assist decrease cramps, and there is not any string exhibiting outdoors your physique. inspite of the reality that your vagina isn't a gaping hollow and the vaginal partitions tend to close around tampons, it remains an orifice that water can get into, hence tampons can get moist making them much less effectual, with menstrual cups no such subject!
