A eunuch is a castrated man; the term usually refers to those castrated in order to perform a specific social function, as was common in many societies of the past. The earliest records for intentional castration to produce eunuchs are from the Sumerian city of Lagash in the 21st century BC. Over the millennia since, they have performed a wide variety of functions in many different cultures such as courtiers or equivalent domestics, treble singers, religious specialists, government officials, military commanders, and guardians of women or harem servants. In some societies, the notion of eunuch has been expanded to include men who are impotent with women or are simply celibate.

Where I come from, Eunuch's are only accepted as long as they could provide entertainment to the rest of the community. They are looked down upon by the whole society with children throwing rocks at them if they find out a said person is an eunuch. Most of them end up castrated from the society forming "families" of their own with their own kind. It is sad, yet true. I hate this world. OMG!!!

It was once believed that by removing the balls of the men that guarded the Kings Harems in the middle east, that they could not get it up and would have no interest in women. Yet, the fact is the guards were probably having the time of their lives banging all the royal poon they could. While the balls are the sperm makers and also produce the highest amount of testosterone the adrenal glands on the kidneys also produce testosterone so while the ball-less ones couldn't get anyone pregnant, they could still function as men so to speak.
