One thing I noticed on your specs, or didn't noticed.. is how is your current ram configured. 1 512MB stick 2 256's....

how many slots does your motherboard have for ram....With many new motherboards 2 512 mb sticks will work faster than 1 1GB stick does your work this way ???

Adding to 512MB replacing... can you trade-in with your local PS shop...

There are tons of internet stores... Ebay/amazon/half .com are also go to look around in. in CNET.com you can compare several sellers to find a good price..

While looking around pay attention to Shipping and Handling. One site may have a low price and make it up via S&H..

Anywho,, hope this helps

Siempre he estado contenta con las compras y los productos que he recibido de sitios web, lo último que he comprado ha sido una memoria RAM de 1 Gb, la memoria se ha hecho su función y se puede ver claramente el cambio así que seguro que voy a comprar otra.

Try one of the companies that sells on the internet like WWW.tigerdirect.com or Walmart.com You can also watch the rebate specials at Office Max. I have seen 1gb at Office max for $39.00 after rebate. I just bought 1gb for my daughters computer for $129.95 -- couldn't afford to wait for a sale. Good Luck !

I personally like Newegg. They are fast and cheap. Kingston, Corsair and Crucial are major brands, Best Buy carries PQI. I personally look for lots (100+) of reviews and then decide from there.
