Laugh.. My Secret Garden is completely different from "The Secret Garden" (which is by Frances Hodges Burnett I think). The one by Nancy Friday is about womens sexual fantasies. I have the second one.. Women on top.. Its interesting.. I'm sure the first would be also.

My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday is a book of woman's sexual fantasies. Nancy Friday is a researcher, who divides fantasies into different "rooms" in what she calls the "house" of fantasy.
Each chapter discusses a particular "room"; and each room is full of letters that people wrote to Nancy. Each letter reveals the mailer's secret sexual fantasy, which Nancy discusses.
The first one, My Secret Garden is traditional women's sexual fantasies.
The second one, Men in Love is Men's sexual fantasies. If you're a woman reading this, it will really be shocking rather than sexy.
The third one Women on Top is a later version with women's sexual fantasies. Apparently women got a whole lot more agressive (mentally) after the sexual revolution.
Believe me, you do NOT want to get Nancy Friday confused with Francis Hodgson Burnett. This is NOT reading for children!

yes the book is worth it, at least i thought it was, the book is always better than the movie. but the movie is really good too. so i would say yes get the book.

hmm... i have seen the movie and i use to like it when i was a little girl... now as for the book, well i havent read it but you know how books and movies aren't nothing alike sooooo..... i dont know??? :o)
