what do you think about the name Erin for a girl?

I think Erin is a gorgeous name for a little girl. I also like the names Skye, Skylar and Zoe. There are plenty of names around but i think Erin is just beautiful.

i really like the name Erin for a little girl...it is a very pretty name in fact my youngest sisters name is Erin

Erin is a perfectly fine name for a girl. Contrary to what you will read in the other answers here.....it is not plain....it is not boring.....
Too many people today think the name of the child will define him/her. Name your daughter what you want and let her define her name and not her name define her.

Boring=P..if ur going to give her such a boring first name give her a nice middle name to go wit it. like Erin Nicole, Erin Elizabeth. Not jus ERIN

I don't care for it. It sounds too plain and simple. However, if you like it, then go for it. Just keep in mind that there are dozens of better names for a girl (Catherine, Elizabeth, Caroline, Isabelle, Stephanie, etc). Also keep in mind that names help to make a person attractive and popular. For instance, Marilyn Monroe would not have become legendary had she used her birth name Norma Jean Baker.

the name erin to me is neutral like unisex like nothing u know like for an it sounds more manly but when put to a man its sounds girlish so yeah basically i dont like it
how about...abigail or shirley (my name), or mara, or jannette, or eunice, or deja, or zephora or um donna (pretty hot name)

I actually love that name, it's very pretty. I like it because it is not a weird spelling or made up sounding, which makes such a nice change!

I think its cute. You don't see to many people with that name.
I like to pick names that aren't common.
I named my daughter Kendra. :P
