The problem with any Schottenheimer coached team IS Marty. He is a great coach in the regular season, but he always has and always will lose in the playoffs. This has followed him from Cleveland to K.C., then to San Diego. It should be in his contract that another coach will take over in the postseason and he should be on the opposite side of the planet as the Chargers during the playoffs. Then they might win.

work real hard!!! but if they got rid of marty that would have grounded them till at least 08 having to learn a whole new system and they would have had to pay his salary on top of it ,good move keeping him that was their only chance at a title next year

they didn't dump them they are free agents and you for got about mike turner and keenan macardell............................. they can do it vincent jackson and malcom floyd can hold there own and they have the leauges MVP on offensive and the best LB ............... also anotonio cromaratie can take drayton florence spot ............. when it comes down to the chargers beat them selves and marty aint on the field

i dont know why they are keeping Marty they need to get rid of Parker and they might have a chance but it will probably have to be a wild card
