Go to google.com and click on maps...put in your address and you'll see all the streets around...you can also click find businesses and then type what you are looking for. It will come up on the map. Here is a short list:

Bars

Ranalli's
2301 N Clark St # 115, Chicago, IL

Ravens
2326 N Clark St, Chicago, IL

both a couple of blocks north

Dry cleaners:

Arlington Dry Cleaners
530 W Arlington pl, Chicago, IL

Old Town Dry Cleaners
1748 N Wells St, Chicago, IL

Royale Dry Cleaners
1655 N Wells St, Chicago, IL

about a mile away

Restaurants

At least 10 in a one block radius

Enjoy Chicago!!

The best sites for finding out what's going on are:
www.metromix.com
www.chicagoreader.com

Metromix is probably better for bars and restaurants, and the both are good for what's happening over the weekend, no matter what you might be into. At Clark and Webster you will not have trouble finding anything. There is a drycleaner or two on every corner.
Quite a few bars right on Clark and more over on Lincoln. You best bet is to just walk around the neighborhood a little.

Chech the Time Out Chicago website (www.timeoutchicago.com)

or Metrmix (www.metromix.com) for the bars, clubs and restaurants in tour area. And if you're living in Lincoln Park there are approximatley a zillion of them, most of them within walking distance. Clark and Webster is practically the epicenter of the area, so you should have no problems.

You van also check out Angie's List, a website that lists user-recommended businesses for your particular area (http://www.angieslist.com/AngiesList/P). They have recommendations for dry cleaners, grocers, plumbers, etc.

there's also a website called Yelp (http://www.yelp.com/?location=Chicago%2C+IL) that gives user recommendations for local businesses and clubs, etc. check it out.

Get yourself a copy of NFT (Not For Tourists) for Chicago at the bookstore. It will show you where all the mundane things are in your new neighborhood.

You can see their website here: http://www.notfortourists.com/chicago.aspx

The Lincoln Park pages are here:
