Is Venus a good brand of piccolo?

Question

Because I found a cheap, silver,plated one on ebay and i was wondering if it even worth it. and if it is will it withstand marching bands?
please help me! i only have less than 4 days.

Venus is alright, especially if you are just learning the piccolo but anything above G3 is hard to get. The plastic body ones are good up there at G3 but not the metal ones. They aren't very expensive and they are padded well.
