Prioritize your homework. Decide which one is more important or due first and then do it. Or, you can do it the way I did my stuff when I was in college:

1. Get the easy stuff out of the way first; think of it as a warm-up to the harder stuff that takes more time.

2. Pace yourself. What I did was work on, say, a term paper for an hour, take an hour break to do whatever I want, and then tackle it again for another hour. Mind you, I start on these things well ahead of time so I can have the time to pull this off without stressing out at the last minute.

3. Find time to do your homework. I'm not talking about scheduling time, I'm talking about on the ride home on the bus or something where you won't think you'll be able to do it. You won't get much done, but it's still something done that you won't have to do and it's a good mental starting point for when you decide to finish it later that day.

Good luck.

by now, you have a pretty good idea which subjects are the hardest for you when it comes to homework and which take the least time.

First thing, come home from school and relax a bit. Unwind. Have a snack, reenergize for an hour. Then get to work on your hardest subject. Give it 30 minutes of devoted time, then, get up, take a 5 minute break, stretch...then sit back down.

If you haven't finished that hard subject, it's okay. Right now it is time to spend about 15-20 minutes on an easy subject. This helps redirect your thinking and will make it easier to go back to a harder subject.

Switch off between subjects until everything is done.

Never go 30 minutes without taking a break, which means getting up and walking away.

DO NOT blare music or have any other major distractions. Although music playing softly in the background is okay. (no ipod & earplugs tho!!)

Obviously, don't wait till the last minute to do a project a teacher gave you 3 days to do.

You could also adopt the college study habit, which is where you study-do assignments in groups...helping each other...

good luck!

Sit down with each teacher, and let them know how you feel. It's not that you don't want to do the work, but you may need a little more time than most. Make a schedule to do homework, before any fun activities which may distract you. But first eat a snack and take a short nap. This may calm down the stress, before you have to get to the homework. Put your self in a place where you can not be bothered, away from T.V., and other things. You need quiet time to study. Work hard for an hour, then take another break. Eat dinner with family, do a chore. Then go back to homework. This way you are not overcome by stress, and you have a change of pace. Maybe watch one program for 30 mins., but don't let that stop you from going back to work. Always get a good night sleep, for the next day.
Don't worry the weekend is just around the corner, even summer will be here before you know it. Just take each day as they come. Get some help from a tutor, they may help you to make a good schedule program, and teach you homework skills, which make things a little faster for you.

It helps to stay organized. Not psychotic organized, but keep a calendar of what is due, and when.

It's primative, but I always used 5 subject notebooks. Take notes for each subject in the right place, and make note of when assignments are due.

Focus most on where you are weak, and what is due first. If you know entirely what you are up against, at the very least you can ask for HELP.

Don't suffer in silence. Get help if you are struggling. You will be amazed how a little support cn help carry the day.

I get that way at work too. I suppose it is a challege of life.

The stress of the work may deflate your ability to do it. You need to get by that. I do this:
- Break the work into smaller work. If you have 2 things due tomorrow, 1 thing the next day, 1 thing next week, then do the 2 things tonite only. You are done. DO the 1 thing tomorrow, you are done. THEN start the one next week and take a few days to do it. DO something fun also.

I feel where you are coming from, I'm a senior in college.
I've found out it helps to do the easy stuff and the things you know first. Usually that makes you feel like you've accomplished something and puts you in a better mood to tackle the tough stuff. But remember not to procrastinate! Cramming doesn't always work! Also it helps to study and do homework in smaller spurts as opposed long stretches which tire you out. You could also talk to your professors, at my high school the teachers would work around each others deadlines so we didn't 5 papers due on the same day! And I hate to say it ...(but my mom said it everyday!!)...you have to BUCKLE DOWN and GET IT DONE!!!! Missing the partying now seems dull, but compare party life now as opposed to partying on the money you'll be making with your education. (Gosh, I'm happy to say that to someone else!)

But always always always make time for you!!!
NO HOMEWORK!
NO STUDYING!
JUST SOME ME TIME!!!

Also am sorry to hear about the case load placed upon you. What I have done in school was ask for an extension on your projects/homework. As was prior stated teachers will help you out. If you don't have any relief from that call up your advisor maybe she/he can talk to the teacher. Ask on your own first, it will show that your mature.

Drop some AP courses if you are taking them.

If you are taking regular, not much to do there. Just gotta do it, though dont really do hw unless its important since it only counts like 10-20% just do good on tests & essays & you will be averaging out like a 70-80
